The South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy, created in S.C. Code § 63-11-2210, officially begins operations Monday, July 1, 2019. At that time, staff will be available to answer calls and questions. Continuum of Care will be part of the new agency.

What is the Continuum of Care?

The Continuum of Care is a South Carolina state program that serves children with serious emotional or behavioral health diagnoses whose families need help keeping them in their home, school or community. The Continuum helps children and families using Wraparound, a team-based approach to caring for families with complicated needs.

The mission of the Continuum of Care (COC) is to ensure continuing development and delivery of appropriate services to those children with the most severe and complex emotional or behavioral health challenges whose needs are not being adequately met by existing services and programs. Learn More
